The boat
Aurora 27 is Frida's first fully in-house design — drawn, engineered and built by hand in Bozburun, and greeted with far more attention than anyone at the yard dared expect. Her builder is a sculptor by training; he calls her the largest sculpture he has ever made.
Under the classic lines sits serious construction: a three-layer mahogany hull laid over laminated frames, an epoxy-laminated keel shaped from 100-millimetre mahogany, and a 270-horsepower heart under the aft hatch. She is built in a limited, numbered series — and currently offered at a special campaign price.
